OTR3 (Organ, Tissue, Regeneration, Repair and Replacement) is a SAS (« Société par Actions Simplifiée ») and a non-listed company with exclusive rights to develop a proprietary family of therapeutic agents, called RGTA® (ReGeneraTing Agent).

OTR3 was founded in 2000 by Professors Jean Pierre Caruelle* and Denis Barritault after winning in 1999 the French National contest for creation of innovative company. The RGTA project ranked N°1 among all biotech projects.

OTR3 has only private investors.
Denis Barritault was elected CEO in May 2004.
The Head Offices are in Paris, 4 rue Française 75001, and laboratory research space is hired at the CRRET laboratory University Paris XII.

* Jean-Pierre Caruelle, PhD, was Chief Scientific Adviser at OTR3 and co-inventor of RGTA. Jean-Pierre Caruelle was professor at the University of Paris XII, and former student at the Ecole Normale Supérieure. Deceased on January 23, 2007.
