Tissue regeneration with RGTA®

RGTA® helps restore the original tissue, resulting in effective tissue regeneration

RGTA® molecules provide a temporary substitute, replacing the degraded Heparan Sulfates (HS). RGTA® have been specifically designed to be more resistant to enzymatic degradation, while maintaining the natural functionality of HS to store and protect communication peptides.

RGTA® molecules help to reconstruct the spatial organization of the extracellular matrix (ECM), as they can, like natural HS, attach to other ECM components such as collagen and hyaluronic acid. In the absence of natural HS  RGTA® act as scaffold for the ECM, allowing it to properly reorganize.

In short, RGTA® interact with ECM components and protect tissue specific endogenous communication peptides and scaffold proteins by blocking access of degrading enzymes.

When applied on a wound, RGTA® molecules allow the natural regeneration process to resume, restoring the initial tissue homeostasis.

RGTA® act only as a temporary substitute to missing natural HS. As the tissue regeneration process resumes, natural HS that are continuously produced by neighboring cells will progressively recover their role in the healing tissue, until complete healing is achieved.
