Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most common cause of dementia. Symptoms appears in the mid-60s. This progressive brain disorder is irreversible. Patients are subject to a slow destruction of brain functions, especially memory and cognition, leading eventually to the inability to carry out the simplest tasks.
